Reporting a Claim

In case of a loss, you must contact the office or your agent as soon as possible. Our phone number is 920-348-5163. 

Claim Do's and Don'ts

Do:

  • Make temporary repairs to avoid further loss
  • Protect your property at and after a loss
  • Notify law enforcement promptly if the loss is a crime
  • Contact a veterinarian on all animal deaths
  • Take photographs to record the incident
  • Begin drying as soon as possible if it is a water claim

Don't:

  • Destroy Evidence
  • Complete repair until our adjuster has viewed the damage
  • Make volunteer payments, offer rewards or assume obligation or other costs
  • Give pertinent information to anyone other than a representative of South Central Mutual or your own attorney

Safety Checklist:

  • Smoke detectors working
  • Fire extinguishers current
  • Surge protectors installed
  • Furnace maintained
  • Wiring up to date
  • Property kept clean and orderly
